Prices for vinyl and painted stripes

Got two estimates. For vinyl stripes on hood and tail gate I'm looking at 350-450. Painted hood stripes only I'm looking at 300-400. Do these sound about right ?

Still seems high. If you were willing to install them I could make them for you for a lot less! I assume they are standard stripes?

They are standard stripes with a pin stripe around them. They referred to them as SS stripes which is probably why they are charging so much. Do u have any pics of your work? Interested!
