Wow Thats embarrassing lol. I missread that. and I agree. 6000k is a little ricey.

i actually like 6k fogs for the rain, i find the make the white lines glow a little nicer.

I had yellow fogs on my old car and I found they didnt reflect the rain droplets as much and made the road more visible during rough conditions.

Did you go with the Dually or the D2's? Are they Flood or Spot?

 

Also, I would like to know what needs to be done to connect them to the factory harness as well.

Much more important than color is beam pattern. Lights that put out a flood or even large spot without a low cutoff aren't going to work well in those conditions no matter their color.

How did you guys connect the fog lights directly to the factory harness?

 

Never mind I picked up a H16 (ps24w) to hid pigtail off ebay.

The yellow color has evolved as the best for visibility in rain, snow, dust and fog. I was thinking about carrying some self adhering yellow film for the headlights if I end up in some bad snow conditions. That seems to be the worst case...big snowflakes reflect a lot of light back and the sharp cutoff on the projector headlights is much better at keeping the light low than any fog or driving lights.
