Denali grill advise please

Hey guys. Thinking about upgrading to a denali grill and was wondering if the overlay "cheaper kind" shows the OEM grill in the back ? Instead the $650 route I would rather save the money and get the after market one but not sure how it would look, I terms of if you can see the OEM gmc grill behind it? Any pics or suggestions would be great thanks guys.
