Does a 2002 Yukon xl 5.3 liter v8 have two fuel pumps? Have gotten both yes and no answers from numerous auto part stores.

If you have two tanks, then you have a transfer pump and then a regular fuel pump. IIRC that is the case with your Yukon XL

One other idea is that maybe you are misinterpreting what they are saying, and that they mean there are two possible pumps for your model truck, and they cannot tell which one is for your specific truck.
