Another new member from Canada's Capital eh?

Hi y'all-

Just joined this forum a short while back, and figured a brief intro was due.

I recently purchased a 'well used' new truck, a 2006 GMC Sierra, SLE, 5.3l, extended cab Z71 that is almost as old as me !!

It has 89 options, and was a very early Fort Wayne build (...July 18, 2005), with a low VIN number - 100933.

It was sold in Alberta, went to auction in 2007, and eventually made it to Ontario in 2008, where it was in limbo from Oct. 2011 to Feb.2014 according to the CarProof report.

The total kilometers on the truck are 147,000 km, which is about 91,000 miles.

I am in the process of replacing all the speakers in the UQ3 sound system - thanks to Amazon.com for the lowest prices on AC Delco replacement parts.

 

My main pride and joy is a totally restored '68 Buick Riviera that has been with me since 1984, hence the member name.

I spend a lot of time on Buick forums, but enjoy gaining all the knowledge I can from the internet.

Look forward to reading and learning all the latest and greatest on GMC trucks from the members here.
