ProComp - Leveling kit install question...

Forgive me if I am just overlooking something simple!

 

Last night I was measuring my clearance for tire sizing, and decided to remove the tires to see how easy/difficult it was going to be to install the ProComp leveling kit.

 

I briefly messed with the upper control arm balljoint bolt and could not get it to loosen. Is there some secret to loosening? every time I turned the nut, the bolt would turn with however there was nothing at the top to hold on as leverage. I've looked at most of the youtube videos and none of them appeared to experience the issue I did.

 

Nonetheless, it was already late and so I popped the tires back on and figured I'd try it again when I actually have time to dedicate.

Should be a spot for a 6mm Allen wrench on the bottom of the ball joint bolt.
