I believe he did replace the battery. If out of calibration, how would we re calibrate it? Where would this part be of we were to just real replace it? Thanks so much for the help!

You will need to do a little research through the forums and the web on this.. The 03-07 models were fairly notorious for the blend motor going bad and or losing calibration during battery change.. For them, the actuator is located just to the passenger side of the center of the dash in the floor board area. Replacement is not difficult but getting the third screw out is a bit difficult being a tight area. HVAC blend door, Blend door calibration, etc are what you would be looking for.

There seemed to be several different recalibration methods. All were pretty much the same with maybe one step being slightly different. The one that finally worked for me had me taking the actuator out and apart. Setting it to the middle, and setting the blend door (what it actuates) to the middle, and placing the actuator back in place. Somewhere in the sequence, you would have the heat/cool controls in the middle, the actuator plugged back in, key on, key off, drivers door open, drivers door closed (don't laugh about the drivers door part... It makes a difference to the "end of ignition cycle"). Its a PIA, but when you finally get it, its not that bad really.

I am not sure if any of this pertains to the 07-13 models. I have not seen or heard much in regards to them but the prior generations had issues.. Hopefully someone else will chime in and either ad to what I am telling, or correct what I am wrong about.. Good luck!
