2014 Lifted GMC Sierra SLT Stabilitrak, Traction Control problems etc

Hello,

Glad I found this forum and hoping someone can shed some light on to my situation since the damn GMC dealership keeps giving me crappy excuses as to what's causing my problem.

Ok, This problem I've been having is that I get stabilitrak, traction control, reduced power steering and engine warning messages. I've taken it to the dealership service department who at this point are blaming It on adding an aftermarket amplifier, headrest monitors and subwoofers. They spent hours with GM trying to figure it out and they are saying that tapping into the circuit of the GMC sierra is causing a drop in amperage or voltage and that is what's triggering the warning messages.

Well after several visits to GMC service department, they had me take the truck back to the stereo shop to disconnect any aftermarket stereo component to see if we still go the warning messages. Well after disconnecting everything, the truck still flashed the warning signs and I took it back to GMC. After about a week of going through test with the truck and with GM on the line they call me and say it's been fixed that a wiring harness pins were loose and they added some dialect lubricant and it seemed to fix the problem.

I picked up the truck, had the stereo shop reconnect the stereo and it ran fine for about 2 1/2 weeks with no warning messages then all of a sudden it all came back. So back to where we are at now with the dealership telling me the same thing, that we have to find an alternate power source/circuit for the stereo components because after we hooked back up the stereo the last time it takes the onboard computer to recognize their is something added on to the circuit and that's when I starting getting these warning messages.

Anyone have any ideas if this is true? I find it hard to believe that the new trucks do not allow a person to add any after market stereo components????

PS. On different occasions when I get these warning message I also lose my power steering. I've read on other forums that people having the same problems as I have is centered around the throttle body control or the accelerator sensor/pedal but not sure what direction to go in.

I just bought this truck in July and it's been in the shop for a month out of the 5 months I've owned it, sad that I spent a bucket load of money for a truck I can't even drive!!!!..

Thanks to anyone that replies!!!
