Anyone do a aftermarket cam, springs and tune?

Like the subject says....

 

Goal is more mid-range hp/tq, emphasis on tq. Not interested in power-adders (s/c or turbo).

 

If you did it, what were your gains? What cam specs?

I would recommend cam and headers to get the most out of a combo. As for the cam grind, call up the cam company you want to go with, let them know your goals and supporting mods, and they will be the best person to recommend a cam grind.
