Maxliner vs. Weather Tech

I know the floor liner issue has been beaten to death in another thread, however I haven't seen many posts about the maxliner floor liners, I'm looking on Realtruck now and I'm just curious how many of you guys have them and how you like them if at all, savings is only about $30-$40 or so but I'd like to explore all of my options, something about the Husky liners just turns me off. Also post pics if you got em I'm looking to order in the next week or so. Thanks

MaxLiner is made in Thailand, if that matters to you? It does me.

WeatherTech makes very good liners in the USA, but their fitting for the 2014 1500's was not great in my experience along the kick panels, and the front passenger liner would not stay put.

Husky, made in USA and Guaranteed For Life has stepped up their game in the looks department, if that was your turnoff? I agree, that they weren't the best looking previously, but with the new look, I think they are on par with the WeatherTech.

When I was shopping for mine last fall, I was sure I was going to be getting WeatherTech's again, but the Husky just fit the newer trucks better. I'm not looking to win any beauty contest, as my liners actually get dirty on a daily basis. Living 2-1/2 miles from the nearest pavement, hunting, around the farm, things just get muddy, among other things.

So if it is the old image of Husky that is turning you off, you might want to give them another look? I have had my Husky WeatherBeaters in my 2014 for around a year now, absolutely love them, warts and all. As a matter of fact, I just posted a new thread a while ago about Husky's NEW look. If you already have seen the new look, then I am sorry.

Thanks for the reply! I ended up going with the weather techs, I used to port cars in high school and I just couldn't get past how I felt about husky liner then, if I'm dissatisfied then I will return them however I hope this isn't the case

I have not expereinced fitment problem(s) with WeatherTech on my '14 Reg Cab. I purchased the # 445451 black one piece "over the hump" floor liner recently.

Maybe these fitmenty issues are with the two piece front floor mats. The one piece WeatherTech fits great, stays in place and hugs the contours of the floor and kick panels.

I used the two "TechGrip" retention devices on the driver side.
