truck will not start

I have a 2003 silverado 2500 hd with the 6.0 liter that this morning turned over very slow. i then grabbed a battery booster and hooked it up to the battery and turned the 500 watt booster and then .nothing. when i turn on the key i first hear fuel pump then i turn all the way to start it andnothing. as i let go the guages all reset themself back to zero. and back to where they normally are. i had batterychecked and it wasno good ....a new battery and still same problems. HELP

You probably have a bad starter. Not super costly or tough to replace!

You may have loose or corroded battery cable / terminal , before replacing parts check with a meter, and do the voltage drop test too.
