Adding a plow, do I need a leveling kit?

Hello,

I'm on the install list for a 7'6" Boss Standard plow on my 2011 Sierra 1500 4x4 Crew All Terrain 5.3L with Rancho shocks.

The plow weighs 597lbs + vehicle mount.

My question is: Do I need a front-end leveling kit? Or a Timbren? Or nothing?

What is your recommendation?

I've looked at Timbren GMFK15CA as a possibility

and

I've looked at a few 2" leveling kits such as

this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00192QT26/

and

this: http://www.roughcountry.com/gm-leveling-lift-kit-1307-8.html

but I've also found mixed information regarding possible issues with Rancho shocks.

Thank you.

I didn't intend to cause a ruckus. The other thread is to ask specifically if there is an install guide or video out there somewhere.

I've found that if I ask too many questions in one post that often times many of them will get overlooked.

Put a leveling kit in it, that will take up the difference more than enough. Boss plows also have a low hanging undercarriage so a leveling kit will keep it higher off the ground.
