I can only work with AllData DIY. That was the best i could get with the bose option. All my stock stuff has been torn out of my truck years ago

02suburbanz71, so far yours is the right idea....wire count and colors are all accurate, however upon plugging harness in,it kills all dash functions, gas gage, heater motor,service4wd lite comes on.......etc. i followed the diagram for the 24 pin harness,i had really high hopes but again ive been defeated in this mission. i will keep trying and see what happens. thanks for the input! im now wondering if i may have burned out the pac unit....that would be my luck, but ill pop the stock stereo back in with this wire layout and see what happens.

so heres my update......harness is all back to factory(thank you 02suburbanz71) stock bose stereo works as it should, onstar works as it should and just as i figured,i burned out the pac unit with all the wrong wiring info i got from the internet......so,a new pac unit will be ordered and i will plug and play like i should have done in the first place. hahaha! sadly this isnt even my truck,i was just trying to help a family member. next time im gonna send em to see the geek squad.

I also have a 06 Silverado LT3 with Bose, steering wheel controls, and onstar. I recently was able to integrate a DDin Pyle PLDNV695 (which, despite the negative reviews, has been an good deck for the cheap price (130$)) with the rest of the stock Bose system. Deck has GPS, Bluetooth, DVD, SD and USB inputs, and more. Everything works fine, minus the few bugs everyone has been complaining about, which can easily be resolved through settings. I was also forced to add a sub due to Bose's crappy low end quality. I did all this without having to buy all the pricey harness adapters.

There are a few issues I have ran into if anyone can help.

1. Does anyone have the wiring diagram or know which wires are used for steering wheel controls?

2. I have read hundreds of forums on this subject and during all my research I have discovered that the stock Bose speakers are 2ohm while the deck pushes 4ohm. I have read the negatives on running them anyway, but it seems to sound way better than the ome deck and haven't received any complications so far (one month in).

Please share some info.

If anyone needs info on my end about bypassing the Bose amp or wiring aftermarket deck without using harness adapters I'd be happy to help.
