So I replaced the idler & pitman arm. Took it to the shop to hAve an alignment done since the truck pulled slightly to the right before replacing parts. After the shop it still pulled to the right slightly.

So the mechanic took it for a drive and drove it back into the shop, lifted the front end off the ground and we could barley spin the front tires. Truck is in 2wd while doing this btw. Tried it in park and neutral. They said maybe something wrong with the break lines?

Truck still drives fine, when letting off the gas it doesn't feel like anything is slowing it down. Just Confused. I haven't had it in 4wd since February or so. I wounder if the electronic system didn't disengage the system 100%

Any help would be great. Thanks

So basically the front tires won't free spin. You can maybe spin them a quarter turn and they stop.

I think I'm going to start with flushing out all the brake fluid. Clean slide pins as you stated. Hopefully this does the trick.

I have the same problem with my 2000 GMC 2500 4x4. The front brakes locked up so I replaced the brake booster. They haven't locked up but the front tires will not spin freely. Any help would be greatly appreciated
