Displaced Texan in Colorado

Hi all,

 

I'm not new to the truck forums just new to this one. Im in the Army and stationed at Ft Carson, CO. I just traded my 2006 Silverado SS for a 2011 Avalanche Z71. Not looking to get too crazy with it like I did my SS. Most likely looking at a leveling kit, tires/wheels, full exhaust, CAI, tune, some other little crap. No motor work like the SS, that turned into a nightmare I never want to relive!

Just had CONSTANT problems after I did the swap and it was issue after issue. One thing that no1 could ever figure out was a reduced engine power issue. I got tired of troubleshooting it and the wife not letting my boys go anywhere with my for fear we would be stranded. Just took all the fun out of owning it for me. Loved it when it was stock, cussed it daily after I modded it internally.

 

And im an 11B, been in since 2005.
