2006 2500HD brake pads

I have found terrible brakes... The EBC's I had on my pickup made so much of a mess I have to call them terrible. There's good and bad aftermarket. My Delco Ceramics can still make ABS kick in... and that's the most any brakes can do really.

All in all I'm happy with the Delco's, they last a long time and run clean.

I can't believe the price of their pads. I think the green stuff pads for the Cruze were $118 last time I checked. Crazy!

i just cant see braided lines firming up anything thats all

The idea is that a braided line will be stiffer and will bulge less than a traditional rubber line. When brake pressure is applied, the rubber lines at the wheels expand from the pressure and that expansion reduces brake power and pedal feel. The braided lines just help keep the line from expanding and thus losing brake power.

That sounds like a price for pads and rotors... I guess the HD pads are more expensive. The aftermarket pads I had were far more expensive then the Delcos.

Stick with OEM Pads.

They last and have zero brake dust.

Are there any aftermarket pads out there that are comparable?

I need new front rotors.....but will probably use OEM pads unless there is a comparable aftermarket option.

I just need new solid rotors. Nothing fancy...and clean pads.
