Been wanting to get a CB installed. I do a few long trips every year and the weather channels are a big plus.

Nice looking set up you'll like that antenna... I have a Midland and a Cobra and when their peaked with that antenna they will talk for awhile... Get you an echo mic and let it rock... Or maybe a leaner...(sp?) liener but you didn't hear that from me... If you ever in KY around the 120 on 75 Break for Fireball and we'll talk..

Maybe the idle control for the PTO?

Hill is correct. It is an Auxiliary Idle Control Module. Allows me to control the rpm or set it up for charge protection. Kind of a cool box to play with.

By the way the install looks so good because I paid a guy to do it. He does it for a living so it was quick and easy for him to do.

Nice setup, I got a cb in my jimmy, but it ain't mounted yet(don't know where to put the durn thing ??? ) I have had one in all of my vehicles, but they were all hand-me-downs from my dad, he had in the CB era so yeah, all of mine that I have used have been over 25 years old...they keep on ticking though :thumb:

K1500 if your truck has the cup hoders that fold down right in the middle(doubt it because it is a standard tranny) you can remove the trey and put it there. A friend of mine had a 94 1500 base model (2wd auto) and removed the cupholder and put his cobra(exact same as stepside's) there, looked really clean...
