Well truck has been in service now 3 times since Wednesday. First 2 times they said bad connections somewhere. Nope not it. Took it back yesterday with same issue. Told them I was not happy driving with an air bag problem. How can I feel safe driving it when service manager tells me it could be possibly that it doesn't go off in an accident. Well great. Thus truck been in service 8 times fir 3 warranty issues since September 2013. And an additional 5 or 6 recalls..been the worst mistake I have made buying a new chevy truck fir ne first new vehicle...never again...

I bought an '09 Chevy ls, that had the same service airbag warning. Thee times I told them about it while it was in for an oil change, I just got told I need to make an appointment. When it got around freezing temperature, my light would go off, but once the weather warmed up, it was back on

sounds like you got a lemon hope it works out maybe call gm customer service seems like with that many trips back to the dealer they would just buy it back.

I don't mess around with airbag lights, my first 05 had one go off sitting in driveway all bye itself, gm took care of it,

I am dealing with it, contacted the BBB also, sounds like a major safety issue to me..

I WOULD DEFINITELY GET AN ATTORNEY INVOLVED IN THIS ONE, BEING SAID YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AT RISK OF WHAT? A DEALERSHIP NOT FIXING OR ADDRESSING AN ISSUE.

LET THE LOCAL TEAM NEAR YOUR TOWN KNOW HOW YOU FEEL.

BEST OF LUCK..

Hopefully it is a small town dealership that everyone knows , so it can draw some attention.

In California , any legal team would like this case!

morely8065 - BBB services companies that want to look as though something will be done when they are contacted, BBB has no horsepower. The better option is the NHTSA, they will review your case and drop the hammer if determined to be a major safety issue. Look them up and file a claim, be detailed and dramatic when you report.

we'll see what happens, the bbb has their own lemon law complaint porton, already filed, paperwork on their way...also emailed gm priority care...

Forget the lawyer bit, they'll just take your money. You'll get good response if you go this route (BBB_Autoline). Just be factual and you'll get a actionable response from GM.

yup, exactly what I did this morning, packet should arrive in a few days, I am getting all service records wether warranty or all the recalls printed off to submit...I wont waste money on a lawyer...

Wrong advice, BBB Autoline works.

I agree, I looked up the NHTSA and didn't feel that was the right road to take...
