Yeah the plasti dip is great to work with and looks awesome but only if you are doing it in matte. Gloss black vinyl is close to onyx, which you cant match using plasti dip

I vinyl wrapped my grill, mirrors, and door handles. It all turned out alright. I wasn't super happy with the vinyl wrap. It definitely chips very easily if anything hits it like rocks. I would recommend and 3m shield or something of that sort to put over it and it should do just fine. Ended up taking all mine off and am getting it colored matched.
