Okay went and saw the movie Dreamcatcher this weekend... All I have to say is...

Don't waste your time and money..

I'm not mad I wasted the money just would like the 2.5 hours of my life back... It's almost as bad as The Nineth Gate...

Thanks for the heads up! :thumb: The Academy Awards are on right now but I don't think I am going to watch them. Movies have stunk this year and everybody talks about the few ones that are going to sweep the Oscars. And the funny thing is, I'm a film studies major so I "should go and see all these great movies" or so says my professors. Thanks again for the heads up on Dreamcatcher. It didn't look too go anyways!

Yeah, but how was "The Animatrix" short that they are supposed to be showing before screenings of "Dreamcatcher"?

I head it's got some pretty good CGI.

I'll have to see it anyways, I promised my best friend I'd go with him to see it. The previews made it look awesome, but we'll see.

I'm kind of an odd ball when it comes to movies. 3 of them that I have seen in the past year are now my favorites.

Ghost Ship, Narc, and Old School. :thumb:

Huh. Thanks for the warning. I'll wait to see it on DVD. I read the book and thought it was very good. But, "Hearts In Atlantis" was a pretty good book. When the movie came out, they only did about one quarter of the book in the movie and it sucked.

I'm generally happy to read Stephen King books too, but Dreamcatcher really wasn't that good, IMO. I thought I'd go see the movie until the critics panned it - maybe on video.

I don't listen to the critics, IMO they don't know what they're talking about. Alot of the movies I like get flamed by critics so I don't trust anything they say farther than I can throw it.

The anti-matrix was badA$$.... go in and watch it then leave the movies..
