I recently tried to install a HID kit I purchased from Amazon. I can't get either light to work. The kit comes with capacitors but says I shouldn't need to use them. It also comes with a relay harness. The troubleshooting guide says the problem lies with the DRL's. From what I have read there is no way to disable them because they operate off the ecm. The kit is an OPT-7 brand. I emailed them but get an automated reply which is no help. Anybody else had this issue?

One or more of your connectors are probably reversed. Double check them all along with your ground connections

Try flipping the connection and use the capacitors, I had serious flicker issues even with a relay until I installed a capacitor.

I'd strongly suggest using the relay harness w/capacitors. That's the only way I could get them to work for me and I'm sure other members have had a similar experience.
