dash and radio go off on 2015 2500hd

Has anyone had the dash and radio go off while driving then come right back on? radio was frozen yesterday then when i went into the truck this morning everything was back to normal. this truck has the plow prep and it seams to have started while working the plow.

This has been discussed over on plowsite. Supposedly Ford & GM are both having the same issue, and are working with the plow manufactures for a fix. Temp work around seems to be keep other accessories (lights, radio, fan, defroster) on. This modifies how the (not-so)smart charging system behaves.

Mine will do it once in awhile, I have the snow plow prep package but I don't run a plow. I can be driving along and all the sudden the radio will go out and come back on, one time I lost all settings in the radio and the other times just had to reset the clock. The last time it did it was the first week of December. This all seamed to start after I got the recall on the radio back in July and it has done this 4 times since then.

Sometimes the climate control will show that its off on the screen but still works, shut the truck off and restart and everything will be fine for about 2 weeks or so.
