Yeah..what do I know... I'm just a EE.

 

Basic physics. More current available= starter turns faster.

It has NOTHING to do with being computer controlled. The computer does NOT control the starter's RPMs. It controls the starter solenoid and the engine.

The crank RPM's and time period are computer controlled. ME here.
