Scottsdale name Trademark Application

Maybe they are finally getting the idea to get rid of the LS/LT/LTZ variants.

Would be good to have a named trim when the new trucks roll out 2018/2019 time frame.

 

General Motors has filed an application to register the term “Scottsdale” as a trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), GM Authority has discovered.

The automaker’s February 12th, 2015 filing carries serial number 86532553 and specifies that the mark will be used for “Motor land vehicles, namely, automobiles, sport utility vehicles, trucks, vans, engines therefor and structural parts thereof.”
