new member & 14 silverado crew owner question about shocks

Hello all new member here will try to get some pics up soon but in the mean time I just picked up a used 2014 silverado crew lt tungsten grey with a 6" suspension lift . I have had Chevy trucks in the past but this is my first lifted truck. I was wondering about the shocks I cannot tell what is on the truck as it was undercoated. I don't think they are anything I would call decent and want to upgrade. Bilstein seem to the shock of choice for a lot of the people here. Also I was looking at the frot setup will I be able to change the shocks there without compressing the springs? I've done many suspension drops in my time but never messed with a lift. The rear shocks are pretty straight forward just wasn't sure about front. Any input is appreciated thanks everyone.

if you change the front shocks you will have to get a spring compressor to get the shocks out of the spring.
