Actually anybody that passed high school science would probably agree it makes a lot of sense. Nobody said anything about a lot of weight either.

The poster had a detached roof. It doesn't make any sense you suggest to him to tie any amount of cargo to the roof and see if the problem is gone or alleviated without understanding he had a detached roof. Anybody that passed high school science would probably agree.

  You can't change the batteries in TPMS sensors. You have to replace the sensor.

  Well, before I bought new TPMS sensors I'd test the batteries, or the heck with it; just put new sensors in with KNOW GOOD BATTERIES, dont just trust batteries just because they are new to you.

  To make things simple, general rule of thumb is not to exceed 80% percent of manufacturer's stated max towing weight to avoid white knuckle driving and that is with a WDH.

  Oh, I see what you're saying now. The *combined* weight of everything being more than 2x the weight. The way you worded it made it seem like you were talking about the trailer itself being more than 2x the truck. At the end of the day, it's a figure of speech. If you're hungry, could you really eat a 900lb horse?No. If you were mad at someone, is a sane, reasonable, logical person really going to kill the other person? No. Does anyone really not notice a big camper behind them or that notice being 0%? No, of course not.
