GMC Emblem Swap

New to the forum here. Everyone seems great and to be knowledgeable.

 

I wanted to swap out my GMC emblems for solid black ones. It seems there are several different part numbers (96500k, 96501k, ...) and they all look like the same part. Also are the grill and tailgate emblems the same? Below are a few I found.

Can't say for the GMC, but when I ordered the Bowties for mine I saw on a Youtube vid that the grille and tailgate emblems have different amount of bend in the middle so they are different. You'll probably have a lot say to just plastidip, but I didn't mind paying for mine. They're aluminum and I don't have to worry about re dipping every few years. I got mine from another website, I think it was autoanything but I can't remember. At least for the Silverado they had every paint color and also if you got it in black you had a choice between matte and gloss. It looks like on that link that they offer a set so you get both the grille and tailgate emblem.

Thanks for the reply. I had a friend dip his, but I really want the gloss finish to match the paint better. I did see one that specifically said tailgate. Just couldn't tell any difference from the pictures or description.
