PaceEdwards and bedcaps?

Anyone running a Pace-Edwards rolltop/jackrabbit and bedcaps?  PE tech support pointed out that the bed on my truck (an 03') tapers from the cab back.  Sure enough, I measured it and the bed tapers 1.75" from front to back!  They said running their cap with bedcaps might cause binding.
