Yeah. Pretty common. Check your tire pressures. Might help a little.

How many miles do you have on it? I hated the way mine drove, thinking he front end was really bouncy, but recently it's softened up

Doesnt the high country have a heavier duty suspension compared to other 1500 models?

Much nicer ride and hugely better road contact in bumpy cornering.

No.

I think it does. I just did a comparison of a HighCountry and LTZ on Chevy.com. It shows the High Country having a "Suspension Package: High Performance." Whereas the LTZ had "Suspension package: Handling/Trailering"

While the High Country might not necessarily be more "heavy duty" they are surely different set ups. Probably different just shocks and spring rates.

But I remember hearing on this forum from another member who didn't like the ride comfort of their High Country truck when compared to a lower model.

The High Country has the Z60 Sport suspension, it is going to ride a little stiffer than a Z71 or Z85 equipped truck.

I can't imagine a stiffer ride than the POS Ranchos.

The springs have a higher rate, believe it or not GM has 4 different front springs for the Silverado, Sierra.

OP have you changed your tires or are you still running the OEM Goodyears?

I definitely believe you... but there are also 3 different cabs and 3 engines, a couple transmissions, and 2wd vs 4wd, and God knows how many wheelbases. But your point is well taken. Each spring rate will react differently to a single damping rate.
