z71 dually?

GM never made a Z71 dually.  If it's a true 3/4 ton dually, then they just added the decal.  I've seen people (including a dealer  :smash:   see pic below) but them on S-10 trucks, Blazers, and even an Astro Van.  :smash:

It could be a 1/2 ton Z71 that someone did a dual rear wheel mod too.  I've seen a couple in magazines, so who knows.  Most likely, they just added a decal.

Someone that may not have known about it probably got raped on the price by this dealer.  :banghead:

I haven't sorted out why people want such decals on their trucks.  I make it a point to REMOVE the ugly things!

I dont think the 4x4 and Z71 decals look too bad, I would have preferred that the x in my 4x4 would have not been red, but the same as the 4's!

To each his own.

Personally I take them all off because I think they look tacky and clutter up the looks of a vehicle.

I saw a 2002 3500 duelie today that was a 4x4 and had the 8.1 gas motor.  I thought that was a different combination.  Usually the 3500 duelies are Duramax powered. :hail:

I've seen that done before.

Has anyone seen people replace badges (1500 -> 2500)?  I saw a superduty in a parking lot one day that was cleary a 250 or a 350 (single wheel) with a 450 badge :jester: Why?  I don't know!

Probably the same mentality which puts huge tires on their "off road" z71, crank up the torsion bars till the tires sit on edge, and never leave a paved road.   ???  :jester:  ???

I dont like the 4x4 decals but I dont mind the Z71 decals.  I do know someone that has Z71 decals on a 2WD.  :jester:  :crackup:
