Trying to check on the status of my truck on order, but keep getting this message when I enter my order # "Safari cannot open the page because the server cannot be found". Anybody got a solution?

Go to Google and try typing it in then click on the link. Sometimes it will work for me that way but if I type it in the url bar it won't show up.

This is for all websites not just the one you have listed

Thanks, CJ. Now I got "Order number invalid". Looks like a call to the dealer is in order.

I don't think gm connects is an actual gm site and isn't being used anymore. When I ordered my truck and throughout the delivery process I could never get any info out of the site. I got all the same errors you are saying. Just tried again to put my order number in gm connects and nothing, my truck was delivered on march 7th. Just check with gm chat once a week

I always just connected with gm chat and gave them my order number to get updated information.

Either will work. gm chat always seemed to get a person faster

GM owns that info and they stopped GMConnects from using it.

I am pretty sure GM cut off the data access for GMConnects. I was able to track my last truck in 2010 with GMCOnnects. I used GMChat for my next truck and noticed when my truck changed from in transit to in stock on the dealer website to know it was delivered. The dealer website must pull data from gm periodically throughout the day. I called the dealer to verify the truck had arrived and they said they just received it.

They are only letting you build a GMC Sierra CC right now.   They are creating demand so the prices stay high.

Also there is a current limit on what trims you can get.  Its mostly high end trucks that are currently in demand.  Even dealers are limited in what they can order.  Last week local GMC dealer got one new 2019 and there were 2 2018 CC on the same truck.

Local dealer has 5 2019 Silverado and 4 are black.
