Hi.. I am a new member and 1st time poster. I have a 2015 Silverado with the large Driver Information Center (DIC). I have the truck for 2 months now and everything was going fine with the DIC. I would leave it on the digital speedometer and scroll through the others functions as needed. Yesterday for reasons I don't know the DIC is stuck in Audio Mode. I have tried everything to get it back to the way it was and nothing has worked. I have been in the settings and made sure all the functions had check marks and all is checked. All it does is display the radio station. I can scroll through all the channels but can't get it passed the audio portion. Any help from you would be appreciated... Thanks

I had mine stuck in phone mode once. I tried everything.

Turned out, the problem was I needed to press left on the steering wheel, then up to "info" at the top and hit the check mark button.

May not be that simple for you, I know the dic is kinda buggy, but thats what I did.

Ya just push the left arrow button and then highlight info. Music is the default screen, at least on mine. The other day I also saw that all you have to do on the 8" screen was swipe left and the dash screen goes straight to music. I guess it's a quick way in case you need to use Nav or something. That could have been what you did to change the dash screen to music.

Glad that fixed it! Mine was stuck for almost 2 days. I was so frustrated because I was used to a digital speedometer and felt like I couldn't tell how fast I was going. I tried everything but resetting the battery!

Just fyi. Music is not the default for the DIC in my experience. However, if you have song or artist alerts set (in xm) and get a pop up for a song and select it using the check mark on the steering wheel, the DIC will switch from whatever the current screen is to the music screen. I hate this functionality and wish there was a way to disable it switching. If there is a way, I've not seen it yet.

Everytime I've unhooked the battery the small DIC screen in the gauge cluster always went to the music screen. It was also on the music screen when I bought the truck until I changed it.

Even though you got a quick response and the problem is solved...imagine how much faster it would have been if your topic title had been "HELP, my DIC is stuck!"

I'm talking about the small screen in the gauge cluster, not the big screen in the middle of the dash. Everytime I've unhooked the battery the small screen in the gauge cluster always went to the music screen.

That's exactly what I'm talking about as well. I've only unhooked my battery once, but when I did I could swear it went to the info page when I reconnected it. Maybe my memory is wrong. Idk.

But still, the other information regarding the DIC switching when you select a song via the pop up is true. I've tested it many times and it pissed me off each time. Don't get how there isn't a way to force the DIC to stay on the info pages.

Classic. *slow clap*

I've unhooked my battery roughly 5 times since buying the truck a year ago and each time the DIC went to the XM page. It sucks, but also not a huge deal since it only takes a couple seconds to put it back on the Trip A page under info. What I'm so glad that it does is keep the radio stations (both XM and regular FM), but you'd think if it could save those that they could make it remember the last page it was on before unhooking the battery. But again, something small that's not a huge thing. I would be pissed if it didn't save my XM stations though lol. I can't remember how many, but I believe it's over 20 plus the 4 FM stations I have on there.
