Battery went dead, lost presets & can't reset them

Don't know why, but went to start truck after sitting 4 days and battery was dead, dead, dead. As soon as I put the battery on a charger, power came back, waited a few minutes and started right up. Don't know why yet, but I'll figure that out maybe. Anyway, all is back to normal, but the radio presets are lost and can't be reset. The preset buttons exist but are light grey, and do not respond to programming. And, xm does not display channel, just the radio number. Oddly I can change the xm channel with the channel knob, but I just can't see what channel it's on.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well. A few hours later and all is back to normal. No idea why. Wtf. Now to figure out why battery went dead.

No. This thing has cranked over great. I pulled my boat to the cottage today. I have a dashhawk plugged in the tech II port, that shouldn't drain battery. It never did on my TBSS. I may have bumped the headlight switch with my knee as I often do and turned headlights on, went in the house and never noticed them on. I'm just not sure.
