Tvette, Do you have the Max Trailering package?

Gopherchoker, nice looking rig! With the bigger mirrors, from the front or rear, does it look like dumbo? ?

I'm not impressed with the GM standard mirrors, looks almost like car mirrors on a big truck.

No, it does not have the max trailering package, although it does have the brake controller.

I am pretty sure you cannot get the max tow package with a Z71.

Great pics. You can really see the rake. Did you add any lifts or is it stock?

yea i know the rake really shows... its stock and i am just debating now to level it or throw a 4" lift on it

I'm planning to put 2.5" level kit and maybe small lift in the rear. I want some rake for when I tow.

Looks nice! Did you notice any difference in your ride or handling?

Posted

Handles the same and a slight diffirence in ride quality. Not as soft of a ride but not a big diffirence to me. GF didn't notice it at all.

Rich,

They come bare black plastic. I took them to the local body shop for paint. Cost me too much...$300 for the paint. I should have shot them myself or found a cheaper body shop. $200 would be closer to reasonable. But they did shoot them twice after I said the paint was too thin.

They look very nice sir!! Good choice on keeping them body color. I am definitely getting body color wheel arches on the one i get. The silver metallic color isn't offered in the AT package this year which is the color I want so I may go for the z71 4x4 and add the AT grill.

Love that dang grill

Traded in a "problematic" 2500 for this beauty. 2015 LT. I purchased it with the GMC wheels already on it from previous owner. While I do like the look of the crew cab short beds a little better, after coming from a crew cab duramax with the 6.5' box I couldn't downsize. Have already swapped out grilles and debadged. level and tires to come next (hoping to avoid caving in and buying wheels!).
