GM VIS help!

I got GM access but cant seem to vis this vin. Anyone else can help or tell me what i am doing wrong?

It's an 02 Saab. Is that before the merger thingy happened?

Comes back as an 06 to me

Sorry, your correct. It is an 06. It's still a Saab though, and that may be why it's not coming up. What kind of Saab is it.

It doesn't have an H motor ( 6.0 ls2), it has an M motor which is a 5.3. So, it may be a 9-7 or 9-7x but not an Aero. An Aero is like a TBSS with the 6.0.

I just tried to enter another 06 Saab in vis and no luck with that one either. Maybe since the GM/Saab parternship is done, the info is no longer in GM's system. Don't know...

This is fact if I recall. Happened either last year or the year before. They pulled all the parts catalog out and part support because Sabb Parts USA (or whatever they are called) took over the operations.

Looking to buy this truck? Best way to check the options would be the SPID label. Should be in the glovebox.

Yeah that much i know the main thing i was looking for was so i dont have to decode it all which they do in GM vis and the GM service history recall history etc when i look up other gm vins
