Power Steering

The only thing that I can think of would be the power steering pump.

You can always try to do a power steering fluid exchange. Get a turkey baster and suck out as much fluid as you can and replace it with power steering fluid. You can get it at any auto parts store. Get at least a quart.

Once you sucked out as much as you can, fill back up and drive around the block, working the steering and then change out the fluid again. Take note if it has change how your power steering feels. Other wise it will be a pump replacement.

The pump has no idea that direction you are turning the wheel. Truck should have recirculating ball steering, and the valving in the steering box likely needs work. This assumes that it is actually a loss of power steering, and not something else in the system binding only on left turns.

Front end parts can start to seize and create a harder to turn one direction scenario. Easy to diagnose, lift front end off of ground, disconnect tie rods at each spindle and see if both front wheels can move freely in both directions, then check pitman arm for equal movement in both directions. If the wheels do not move freely in both directions, look at the ball joints for starting to seize. Note that if they are starting to seize, they will NOT have play in them. This does not mean that if they have no play they are starting to seize. What it means is that just because there is no play in them they cannot be bad.
