sounds like you want a good hybrid tire, I don't have any personal experience but have been looking at a few, they are the Toyo R/T, Mickey Thompson Deegan 38 (38 is part of the model, not the size), and the Cooper S/T Maxx

Might want to look into one of those 3 tires, the only one I haven't seen on any trucks on here is the Deegan 38. But I know a few have the R/T and the Cooper S/T Maxx

The STMaxx is a decent hybrid MT/AT. Maybe a bit more MT than AT. It works ok in light mud. But in serious mud, it's meh. The BFG KO is not a mud or MT/AT hybrid. It'll load up quickly in mud. BFG makes a great MT, but the KO just isn't that kind of tire.

Bottom line, a serious mud tire isn't a decent street tire.

Check out the Toyo MT. It's about as far out the MT path that is still even reasonable for commuting, and that's debatable.

I actually just talked to a guy today who has a set of 35" Deegan 38s on his F250, the tires looks great, more aggressive in person, but he said that they are really quiet on the road for their aggression. I think its definitely going to be my tire of choice now. He also said it does great in the mud because of the wide shoulder lugs, he's never gotten stuck and is on his second set now. didn't remember what he got from the first set but remembers it was right at 60K miles

just wanted to add this info since I got it today
