2003 2500HD Rear Caliper bracket/E-brake question

Working with a 2003 2500HD rear 10.5"... installing new E-Brake cables for a conversion and noticed a threaded hole near the bracket for the E-brake cable. I assume there was some sort of 'U' shaped bracket here for the spring on the e-brake. Anyone know what part is missing? Or what it's called?

Last time I saw that the cable end sheathing clips in there without any retainer ,

 

A dealer will have a pic of it for you
