k&N air filter

Has anyone tried replacing the stock air filter with a high flow K&N air filter on the 6.0. I'm trying to wake her up a little bit

I did, and it did nothing at all. I don't think there is any waking my 6.0 up until I can get it custom tuned. Drives like a big turd.

I haven't been convinced yet that a high flow filter or a CAI would do much of anything for the 6.0L except make one's wallet a little lighter. I chide GM over some of the stuff they do, but they got the intake and exhaust part of the 6.0L setup pretty darn good. I am not motivated to change anything in that regard.

My thoughts on this would be to ditch the factory muffler and to add a functional ram air hood

Is BlackBear tune worth it for the 6.0? I do enjoy my 6.0 in my '15 but a little more power would be nice:)

Forget the CAI and get a tune. It will wake the 6.0 up.
