Cab lights

I am aware that this topic has probably been beat to death, but I searched and couldn't find anything.

Do any of you guys run cab lights on your 1500? If so please feel free to post a pic. Thanks

Curious to hear about this as well. I put them on my 1500 Av. These 1500 NHT trucks should at least have the option, it would complete the look with the tow mirrors!

I have an interest in this as well. I was looking the other day, I believe RECON (or some other brand, I don't remember) makes some, but I failed to find any reviews and I would like to be set on a quality product before drilling into my truck's roof.

I think it would look great!

I had Pacer Performance ones on my Av and they worked great, no issues. Also put a thick layer of Vulcan Seal inside the cab on the roof to make sure no leaks would happen.

I think if I put Cab Lights on this one, I'd go with the LED version. I think this Gen would look weird with the fatter ones used on the 2000s trucks. Pacer Performance has a 3 piece set. Looks like Amazon sells it for just over $100. Hmm.. I wonder how this would work for me, I have a Sunroof. Shouldn't make a difference, I just built a 2500HD with Sunroof and Cab lights, didn't throw an error.

I wonder if the install for the OEM cab lights on a 1500 would work the same way as for these aftermarket ones? I really want to add some, but would want the OEM ones (yes, I'm picky...).

Other than that I just need to get the balls to drill into the roof

I put some oem ones on a 2500 that did not come with them. They were led and had square brackets that went through the roof and a bolt tightened to pull them tight. Cutting the square holes with a body saw was somewhat of a pain. I had to measure about 100 times to make sure I put them in the right spots. The center light had to have two squares cut through and the alignment had to be perfect to bolt up and not leak.

A 2015 Silverado 2500.
