2014 Sierra DC 4x4 All Terrain. The right rear of my truck when measuring from ground to wheel well sits an inch and a half lower than the left side. Is this normal? Anyone else have this issue?

That's not normal at all, are you on perfectly level ground? The drive side should be about half an inch lower than the passenger side.

Yes measured on level ground. You say half an inch? Due to gas weight?

yup because of the gas tank they say. Also make sure your tires are both the same psi. Something could be loose, like the u bolts of something, but I can't see that causing that much of a difference. You may have a bad leaf pack. It could also be a bad shock if its seizing up. Is it always unlevel like that? Try bouncing up and down on the corner bumper steps and listen for a popping noise coming from the shock.

I'm not sure if its always like this I just recently noticed it a few times. I could tell the difference just by looking at it from behind at a distance. No unusual noises.

You should be measuring from the lip of the wheel to the body not from the ground up.

Look for green or red marks on your leaf springs. The manufacturer marks them red for tall and green for short (I may have that backwards). No tag is neutral. GM is supposed to match them up during assembly. I have been to both the spring manufacturer and the Fort Wayne assy plant and seen this in practice.

The driver side should be slightly lower due to the road pitch as well as the tank. Mine is about a 1/2 inch different

They say its from the gas tank, I say BS, because my truck still lists to the left, whether the tank is empty or full ... same height ...

My 2014 Silverado z71 is also doing this. Rear passenger is 1” lower than rear driver side. I can’t figure out what’s causing it.
