New owner questions

Hi guys -

 

I just bought a 2013 Sierra 1500 regular cab work truck and am looking forward to picking up some tips and eventually contributing to this forum if I can.

 

I'm retired, so this truck will see light use, but I always like to learn about my vehicles (beyond the owner's manual).

 

Anyway, for starters I'm interested in adding some soundproofing inside the cab so I'd like to find a reference for interior trim removal. I know shop manuals are available, but I'm not sure they cover interior trim.

 

If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

Generally speaking find the exposed screws then pull firmly. If the part doesn't come off, find the screw you missed. You can find a bunch of panel removal videos on youtube.

Yeah, I searched this forum and YouTube, but didn't find anything immediately except for removing door panels. I'll keep looking.
