Hey from the Ozarks

Picked up my 2014 High Country from Wood Chevy in Harrison about a month ago. They promised the direct injection 6.2 would make my right foot happy, and...IT IS!! Traded a BMW X3 with some hesitation. Now no regrets.

Found this forum researching Wi-Fi info, as my build date is after they started to install these units. But On-Star states since it's a 2014, I don't have it. I guess I'll have to finally break down and trade in my Razr for a smart phone... Any suggestions? (Already have an Ipod touch 5th gen.) I am missing the 80G hard drive in the BMW...read somewhere that the Silverado HD had this option?

Thanks,

It will be the main driver. I have installed the Chevy chrome step, and the rug bed liner. (Another female Silverado owner highly recommended the rug install) Next are the mud flaps--if it ever stops raining long enough to clean the area for install. I have to say I have a '76 step-side and an '85 long-bed, and the technology in this one is fantastic. 30-40 years has made a difference! The ride stability does remind me of the X3.

I am getting acquainted with the Mylink, the placement of the buttons and how to use the favorites. Though I would like to figure out how to change from seeing XM numbers to the name of the station on the Driver Display. Seriously searching for the code for the 80G unit. Having a real music collection and not just playlists that take time to put together is very nice, and I miss it.

I am also looking at easy power increases. I am a torque lover. Will post some of the other vehicles in the gallery.
