Remote Start Kit For 2014 Silverado not working properly.

I just bought the GM remote start kit for my 2014 Silverado and I installed the kit to keep from getting my money taken from the dealer. I know that I needed to take it in to have the key FOB's programed and the vehicle programed to read them. The dealership programed the key FOB's but they said they could not get the remote start to work. The lights flash after the remote is pushed to start but non the less it won't start. I paid them for the programing and brought my truck home to back track where I my have messed up. All of the connections are good to my knowledge, the only question that I have is about the BCM K9 X4 harness. I put the green jumper in to pin 24 on the connector but I want to be sure that it was the right one. Is this the right connector or is it another one. Also is there any type of reset or another step that my keep this from working. Please help if anyone has any suggestions!

Did they actually call Techline and get your bcm program updated?

 

 

Note: For North America vehicles, the installation of accessory remote start requires BCM programming. This is done with a Service Programming System. The installer needs to call the Techline Customer Support Center (1-800-828-6860). The Techline Customer Support Center will provide programming instructions and changes to the vehicles calibration settings. You must provide the vehicle identification number (VIN) of the vehicle to be programmed and the authorization code provided with the accessory, when calling.

Yes they did, and they got the remotes to work but it still won't start. The lights flash right before it is supposed to start but that's it.

are you sure you got the wire seated correctly into connector its looks a little beat up where you installed it. When you pop the hood does the hood ajar pop up on dash?

IH8Ford that was exactly what it was...... The wire was not seated correctly. It now starts with everything working fine. Thank you for your help.
