Upgrading the 8" Non Navigation MyLink to Navigation

Gen5DIY is now offering the navigation upgrade kit for those with 2014-2015 Silverado's and Sierra's that currently have the 8" Non Nav Mylink system. Our kit comes complete with a programmed HMI module and a separate, underdash mount, GPS antenna. We have the kit's available for the 2014-2015 models that do not have the SMS feature and we also have the kit's for the 2015 1/2 models that do have the SMS feature. Customers with 2014-2015 models without SMS will only gain the function of navigation and not the SMS feature that the 2015 1/2 models have. Kits for the 2014-2015 models are priced at $695.00

Here are the instruction's for installing the HMI module.

 

Installation is as simple as removing the glove box, replacing the module and installing the GPS antenna. No programming is needed as we have done that for you. Connect the GPS antenna to the unused antenna port on the HMI module and mount the antenna under the dash as high as possible.
