PIAA Bulbs

OK,

Someone should have told me the PAIN IN THE A$$ installing the low beam on the drivers side was going to be. I had to remove the battery to get my hands in there. Man, I prey it never burns out.

But the bulbs are great, perfect white, big difference between the stockers and these.  Great bulbs, but cost too much, But if you are getting a gift like I did, you will be pleased.

I can't wait to see the look on your face when I tell you how easy it is to replace your headlights...............

Look in your owners manual and It shows you how to do it.  When I installed my Silverstars it took 5 minutes per side.  Not sure if the "Ho's" are different or not but here it goes if you don't want to look in the book.

As you stand in front of the vehicle with the hood up.  Look right above the lights and you will see 2 little Hooks that are turned in.      Now take those and turn them out and pull up.  The short shaft will come out on both sides and walla!!! You have the headlight in your hand.  Install the bulb and put it back in and replace the shaft and you are good to go.

Gm finally gets a pat on the back for this design.

Todd check back in and tell me if the "Ho's" have the same setup.  Congradulations on upgrading your headlights.  I personaly like the Silverstars and there 60 bucks less then the PIAA!!  :flag:

Nah................

Maybe someone should investigate in putting the owners manual on the web?  Then all of us Internet savy folks wouldn't have to look in the glove box.  Plus I get tired of all my condums falling out everytime I open the glove box

I try to avoid trendy expressions or cliches(though I just dropped 1 by saying that I think...or at least a trendy word), but I have to say...too much infomration.

It's more just a figure of speach.  Old adage that everyone stores condums in the glove box.........

I carry mine in my nylon, velcro fastening wallet. You know the one, with the faded out circle in it. The same faded out circle I have in my Levis'

Until you realized how simple it was to replace them by reading the manual, I was here scratching my head trying to figure out how you were having problems.  :flag:

I too love my PIAA's.  Got them in everything I own.
