after market wheel question.

running stock 8 lug 18 inch wheel with stock 265/70 18 tires now. would like to get a set of black wheels and snows for the winter. the offset is 44 on the factory wheels i think. do i have to find a set with the same offset on the aftermarket wheels to keep everything the same? and does anyone have any recommendations? thanks

Why not a set of take off wheels plastidipped black? That way you won't have to mess with finding the right offset, etc. and you can make them black or peel it off if you choose. Ebay, craigslist, truck shops that do lift kits and bigger wheels/tires may have some takeoffs as well.

For the factory 18X8, the offset is +31mm. You can get wheels with offset of +18 for a wider stance. Try to look at the XD's - http://4wheelonline.com/XD_Wheels.67249 for some nice looking black rims.
