LT trim door panel armrests *cheap*

Has anyone else noticed that your elbows cause dimples in the cheap rubbery door panel armrests on the LT trim trucks?

I was in my buddies Denali earlier today and the armrests are actually a solid foam block. The LT/SLE truck are hard plastic lowers with a textured rubber top.

I might investigate changing these out at some point -or- just wait until I get word from a friend that tows in totals if he gets an LTZ on the books that I can get the padded trim items out of.

I've got a WT truck and I haven't noticed any dimples in my door armrest.

Unless the material can be removed, the armrests are part of the door panel.

They are not part of the door panel, They may not be "serviceable" but I know they come off and they aren't molded to the base panel. More than likely they are held on with those trusty white melted plastic tabs...typical with modern trim. I have removed them multiple times in the older 900 trucks to fix them. Helps that I have a close friend that owns a trim shop and I get all these helpful pointers from :)

Yea I worded it wrong the armrest can't be purchased separate, only with door panel. You got what I was getting at lol.
