Rear Seat Bottom Clip/Hooks

What are the clip/hooks on the bottom of the rear seat for, in a 2015 crew cab Sierra?

Hanging bags when the seat is up.

Pretty sure it says grocery bag hooks in the manual....if not there i saw it somewhere on GMC literature. .....could have been a brochure

While on the subject of hooks, is it just me or do the top anchor loops over the crew cab back seats look ghetto?

 

Such a nicely designed interior and then they have these ugly cables sticking up into the window.

 

And the way they say you have to route the actual latch system is hokey.

 

I can imagine the discussion:

 

Safety guy to designer : "Where are the top LATCH points?"

 

Designer: "The what?"

 

Engineer: "Don't worry, we'll add in something before the trucks go out the door. Hey Bob, we have any spare brake cable laying around?"

Those under seat storage organizer just need to come down in price(over $100 for molded rubber).

Check eBay for the OEM under seat storage organizer. I got mine for $135 shipped on a best offer vs. the $200 plus tax the dealer wanted. It is not molded rubber but high impact plastic and very heavy duty. I was surprised at the heft of it.
