2006 yukon denali front end conversion

Hey everyone,

 

I have done a lot of searching and have come up short on answers. I am purchasing a 2006 yukon denali tomorrow and was wondering if it is possible to convert the front end to that of the 2007 tahoe/suburban. I love the look of those vehicles I just can't find any in my price point so I wanted to know if I could do the work myself?

Theoretically, all the sheet metal components (hood, fenders, etc.) and related components (headlamp brackets, headlamps, grille, etc.) should bolt right up, since underneath, they're basically the same thing, but the body lines/contours will not match up to the doors.

Possible yes, not easy since it is a different body style. Now if you wanted to go 06 to 06 then it would be a lot easier. Here is one I saw at SEMA 2013. It is an 04 pickup with the 07-13 Yukon Denali front end
